Spiritual Notes for November

For 10 years without fail, I light two candles for myself every 9 days. The oils, herbs, prayers and powders change every time.

Once a week, I change the water on the Ancestor shrine. Everyday I light incense on it. I only use white candles, which burn daily. I offer food offerings frequently, particularly cooked meats and breads but legumes and greens when I want cold, hard cash money. There, I also pray daily for the Ancestors, thank them for their support, and pray for their elevation into the light, love and mercy of God. They wear white and gold when they appear. I’ll close my eyes and meditate for downloads, insights, wisdom. I have been diligent about this for years.

Everyday I oversee the candle rituals and other workings of the Prayer Room that burn for clients. Sometimes I set lights and offer prayers for people who never asked and will never know. Many of you will attest to this. I answer emails and messages in there. I play holy music for inspiration and ideas. I believe Spirit speaks to me this way and grants me the knowledge to cultivate my spiritual gifts. I know this is correct, righteous, and brings good things to those around me who are blessed in my divine web.

I walk this path because I mean it, and I turned it into a tremendous privilege that benefits not only me but many people across the world.

It’s humbling to be constantly gifted things from people and to be affirmed in my work. It’s humbling to always have clients and work every single day. I have never NOT been busy since the day I lit the forst candle for someone else. I have had to force myself into sabbaticals to recover from the sheer volume of work over the years.

This kinda stuff makes me happy. It means all decisions that led me here were the ones I made in love and agapé. Every achievement has been worth it.
